Dr. Ken Gurley has served as the Senior Pastor of First Church in Pearland, Texas, since 1988. He is a prominent Apostolic Pentecostal speaker, author of numerous books, including The Book on Prayer, and a certified church revitalization consultant. He hosts daily devotions and holds a doctorate in Christian Leadership. He serves as the deputy director of the National Apostolic Christian Leadership Conference, President of Second Chance Network, and Chairman of Healthy Churches.

Pastor Gurley holds a professional degree in accounting, a Master of Arts in Executive Coaching and Consulting, and a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Christian Leadership with a focus on Church Revitalization. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He graduated with honors from the University of Houston.
